WANDS

WANDS

We think that these wands look supa cool!!

All you need is wooden spoons (we used the ones with round handles), feathers, little glass stones and marbles, string, glue, beads and felt pens.

In the first step I drilled some holes into one of the wooden spoons using a big bitt. With the other wooden spoon I used the jigsaw and reshaped the end. I then sanded the ends smooth.

Using Araldite I glued a red marble into the big drilled hole and some of the little glass stones onto the other spoon. We then waited patiently for the glue to dry!!

For this step using the hot glue gun we ‘tacked’ some feather onto the wooden spoon handles. Using the string we left a long piece hanging down towards the bottom of the spoons handle then wrapping the other end around the top firmly (periodically using the hot glue gun to keep it in place) making sure that we cover the feathers ends. When we got it to the desired length we tied off the string ends together and added some beads!!

Now we simply decorated the wands with the felt pens.

Look!! The wands work with a ‘puff of smoke!!’ lol!!

We even made some potions with them too!!
