Beach Towel Skirt
We are loving
this skirt as we no longer need to take a towel to the beach or pool because we
are wearing them!!
These are
again SO easy to make.
For Serenas
towel skirt we folded and cut the beach towel in half lengthways (we have
enough towel left over to make another one)
The next
step was to round off the edge. I used a dinner plate for a template, then folded
it in half to do the same on the other side.
Now we
simply overlocked the raw edge.
To jazz up
the skirt we sewed on this pom-pom trimming.
After Serena
tried on the skirt we worked out where to place some darts to help it fit
better around the waist and hips.
Now for the
buttons and button holes.
Viola!!
Done!!
