3D Hearts

 

 

Very easy to make with only 11 folds!!

Start off with a square piece of paper

Fold it in half, then open it up again

Now fold up about 1cm of the edge (the side with the crease in the middle)

Fold that edge now to the opposite side, press firmly

 

The top corners with the open edges, fold down diagonally to the bottom edge so that they are aligned. You should have a triangular shape with a straight point now

Now fold up the top flaps to align with the side. Unfold again (both sides)

 

With the corner, fold it to the crease you just made (again both sides)

Slightly open up the little top flap, and slide in the little bottom flap (both sides)

Spin it around then fold down the 4 top pointy corners

 

Now for the fun bit!! Slightly blow through the hole in the bottom while gently pressing in the top middle

It should inflate into a 3D heart shape!!

Done

We printed out some little ‘Spread the Love’ notes and glued them onto the hearts before inflating them
