Eatable Tea cups

Eatable Tea cups

These little tea cups are great fun to make and to eat!!

We made these for Serenas School Fate cake stall.

What you need:
Round biscuits for the base/saucer (We couldn’t decide which ones to buy so we bought a collection of them. I felt the Hundreds & Thousands biscuits would make them far too sweet but Serena reckons they will be perfect!!)Marshmallows for the cup, Life savers for the cup handles, White choc bits for the ‘glue’, Milk (brown) choc bits for the ‘coffee’ and 100s & 1000s for the froth.

First we melted a small amount of the milk choc bits in the microwave. We then dipped the marshmallows into the chocolate then into the 100s & 1000s. (we ended up making some of white and some of milk choc tops)

Next we melted another small amount of the white choc bits in the microwave and used that as the ‘glue’ to stick the marshmallow to the base biscuits.

The last step was to cut the lifesavers in half and ‘glue’ them onto the side of the marshmallows with some more melted white choc bits so the cups now have some handles.

Yum !!

School Fate here we come!!
